What the fans are saying as Valencia send Arsenal a message with 6-2 win in La Liga

Arsenal have been sent a message ahead of the Europa League semi-final clash against Valencia on Thursday.

That's what fans are saying after Valencia won 6-2 in La Liga against bottom side Huesca this evening (Sunday), having been 5-0 up at half time.

Daniel Wass set the ball rolling for Valencia, opening the scoring inside two minutes, before Rodrigo added a second on 16 minutes. Santi Mina then bagged a brace to make it 4-0, before Xabier Etxeita scored an own goal before the break.

Rodrigo then scored his second goal of the game six minutes after the restart, making it 6-0 with more than half an hour to play.

But Valencia were unable to add to the score after that, with Huesca pulling two goals back, firstly through Gonzalo Melero and then via a penalty from Alejandro Gallar Falguera in injury time.

Arsenal fans will agree with what Ian Wright said about Laurent Koscielny following Valencia win

The result boosted Valencia's hopes of finishing in the top four in Spain, with Marcelino's side three points behind Getafe with two games left to play.

In contrast, Arsenal's hopes of finishing in the top four in the Premier League were severely dented by a 1-1 draw with struggling Brighton & Hove Albion this afternoon, leaving the Gunners three points behind north London rivals Tottenham with one game to play - and with Arsenal having an inferior goal difference.

And although Arsenal have a 3-1 advantage from the first leg of the semi-final, some fans have been saying the same thing on social media this evening ahead of the second leg of the Europa League clash, following Valencia's result.

Here's what some fans have said.
