What the bookies think of Bristol City, Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and West Bromwich Albion's promotion chances

The recent transfer activity may have made Bristol City fans excited ahead of the new season, but it has yet to really catch the attention of the bookies.

City last week announced a number of signings, including Jay Dasilva and Sammie Szmodics, whilst confirmation of Tomas Kalas' move from Chelsea is also expected shortly.

It has left Robins fans feeling optimistic about the upcoming campaign - especially having only just narrowly missed out on the play-offs last season.

Yet so far the bookies have not taken much notice.

Sky Bet have ranked the Robins as 7/1 to win promotion - which is very much in mid-table compared other clubs' odds.

Leeds United are favourites for promotion, whilst Fulham and West Brom also have optimistic odds.

Elsewhere, pre-season turmoil for Nottingham Forest and Birmingham City is reflected in their odds.
