What teams might trade for Jerry Jeudy, and what could they offer?

The Denver Broncos have not publicly commented on the trade status of wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, but it seems fair to connect the dots and assume the team has let it be known through various reports that they will not trade the receiver unless a team makes them an offer they can’t refuse.

Multiple teams have been connected to Jeudy in recent weeks — and several teams have reached out to the Broncos — but no trade has materialized (so far). Jeudy also drew interest from other teams leading up to the in-season trade deadline last fall, but Denver held firm in its asking price that no teams were willing to meet.

Now a few months later, Jeudy is being discussed as a trade candidate yet again, and the Broncos have seemingly indicated through reports that they have a high asking price and no wiggle room in negotiations.

So, with that in mind, which teams might be interested in trading for Jeudy, and what could they offer in a trade? Here’s a quick list of eight teams to watch for in the coming weeks.

1. New England Patriots

There’s been plenty of buzz that the Patriots are interested in Jeudy, plus speculation that New England offered a second- and fourth-round pick. The Broncos are believed to be seeking at least a first-round pick for Jeudy. New England holds pick No. 14 in the first round and pick No. 46 in the second round. The Patriots have signed JuJu Smith-Schuster, but that has not ruled out the possibility of New England also trading for a WR1.

2. Houston Texans

Houston has been mentioned as a potential landing spot for Jeudy, and Mark Lane of Texans Wire has floated a hypothetical trade offer of a first-round pick (No. 12), a third-round pick (No. 73) and a 2024 fourth-rounder in exchange for Jeudy and a 2023 sixth-round pick (No. 195). Such an offer is just speculation, but Denver would probably listen if Houston called.

3. Tennessee Titans

The Titans are still looking to add at wide receiver. Mike Moraitis of Titans Wire told Broncos Wire he could see the team offering a late first-round pick or an early second-round pick for Jeudy. Tennessee would have to trade down to get a late first (they currently hold No. 11 overall), but the Titans do pick early in the second round (No. 41).

4. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are a possible, but seemingly unlikely, potential trade partner for Jeudy. Carolina already made a huge trade with the Chicago Bears this offseason to secure the No. 1 overall pick, presumably for a quarterback. The Panthers obviously won’t trade that selection for Jeudy, but Anthony Rizzuti of Panthers Wire told Broncos Wire he could see the team trading a second-round pick (No. 39) for the WR.

5. Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota has been in the market for a wide receiver, but Tyler Forness of Vikings Wire told Broncos Wire he can’t see the team offering more than a third-round pick for Jeudy. Minnesota currently holds pick No. 87 in the third round.

6. Dallas Cowboys

The plausibility of a trade becomes less likely beginning at this point in the list. We know the Cowboys tried to trade for Jeudy before the in-season deadline last fall, but after completing a trade for Brandin Cooks, Dallas seems unlikely to also make a deal for Jeudy this offseason.

7. Cleveland Browns

Similar to the Cowboys, the Browns were heavily linked to Jeudy before they completed a trade for another receiver. After acquiring Elijah Moore in a trade with the New York Jets, Cleveland seems unlikely to also make a trade for Jeudy in the same offseason.

8. Kansas City Chiefs

Charles Goldman of Chiefs Wire told Broncos Wire he believes Kansas City would be willing to trade their first-round pick (No. 31) for Jeudy, but Denver seems extremely unlikely to trade Jeudy to a division rival.

Of the hypothetical trade partners above, the Texans might be able to offer the most, but there’s been no indication so far that Houston is actively pursuing a trade for Jeudy.

The Broncos won’t make a trade just for the sake of making a trade, so if no team meets Denver’s asking price, Jeudy will remain with the team. Such a scenario would be well-received by Broncos fans, who don’t want to see the team trade the talented receiver. Trade speculation will likely continue through the draft. If Jeudy’s still on the roster in May, it will then feel safe to say he’ll remain with the team in 2023.
