What Steven Gerrard has said about his Rangers future after title win amid Liverpool links

Steven Gerrard has declared he is 'hungry for more' at Rangers after his side clinched the Scottish Premiership title on Sunday.

The Light Blues' top-flight triumph was their first in a decade and sparked wild celebrations outside the Ibrox Stadium this weekend.

Liverpool legend and Rangers manager Gerrard insists he is thinking about what's next for his side - despite rumours linking him to Anfield with his significant rise in management coinciding with the Reds' poor run of form.

"I always said the first one would be the hardest," Gerrard said. "But I am hungry for more, and I hope my players share that with me."

"If they do then it is exciting times to be a Rangers fan. For me the priority is to let this sink in. To realise the monumental achievement that it is.

"But that has to make you hungry for more. I’m already thinking about what is next. Since I’ve been a young lad all I want to do is win football matches. I want to have moments like that in the dressing room. That is what it is all about."
