What Steven Gerrard has been telling Rangers players in bid to find best form

Ianis Hagi is adamant no-holds-barred summits in the Rangers dressing room are nothing new and were regular occurrences last season as they took the Premiership by storm.

The Ibrox midfielder knows an improvement on recent weeks is required at Fir Park tomorrow

Hagi revealed boss Steven Gerrard ’s instruction couldn’t be simpler and it’s all about moving forward as one.

He said: “There are always going to be discussions in the dressing room regarding how we can get better.

“Even last season, with just two or three losses, these things happen.

“You always talk, always try to get better. It’s just sticking together and having a game plan, just to go out and deliver.

“Our only focus is to go out there and get the three points.”

Hagi admitted boss Gerrard’s demand to them was simple ahead of a crunch Premiership clash.

He said: “It’s loud and clear, for the collective to try to get better as a team.

“Stick to the game plan and deliver.

“We just have to be ready and step up. It’s a great opportunity going away from home and getting three points because away games are really important in a season. We’re really hungry to get those three points.”

Hagi also called on his side to ditch the habit of going behind in games this season – and he admitted it’s a big part of the improvement Rangers are working towards.

He said: “It’s a stat that we’re not proud of but clean sheets are something that we expect.

“Hopefully from now on, we will have more clean sheets and more goals.”
