New England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore is going to miss receiver Cordarrelle Patterson — but not because of the sweet moments moments they shared. To the contrary, Gilmore is going to miss the fights.
Patterson joined the Patriots for just one season after New England acquired him in a trade with the Oakland Raiders. In 2018, he had 21 receptions for 247 and there touchdowns with 42 rushes for 228 yards and one touchdown. He signed with the Chicago Bears on a two-year deal during 2019 free agency.
He and Gilmore must have had some heated matchups during practices during the 2018 if that was Gilmore’s strongest takeaway from his time with Patterson.
