What stars from Harry Potter, Outlander, football and more charge on Cameo

If you've ever fancied hearing your favourite Scottish star wish you a happy birthday, then you could get the chance.

A host of famous and not-so famous faces are on the website, offering personalised video messages for fans.

You could ask Gordon Strachan to wish your dad luck in retirement, or have Michelle McManus serenade your mum on her birthday.

But it comes at a cost, and the most in demand celebs can charge hundreds of pounds for the videos.

We've taken a look at some of the celebrities from Scottish films, TV and sport who are on Cameo and what they earn from it.

Billy Boyd

Billy Boyd, also known as Pippin from Lord of the Rings, is another Scottish actor who appears on Cameo.

The Outlander actor charges £112.50 for a personalised message for fans for any of the many shows he has appeared on.

Graham McTavish

Graham McTavish offers fans their own personalised video messages (UGC)

Best known as Dougal from Outlander, Graham McTavish is one of the more expensive Cameo celebs offering personalised video messages for fans.

Pals with Sam Heughan, the pair recently went on an adventure round Scotland for their new Starz TV show Men In Kilts.

If you do want a video from McTavish, you can expect to pay £105, or extra for super fast delivery.

Tim Downie

Continuing the Outlander theme, Tim Downie also offers video messages at a cost of £45. The English actor also charges £2.24 for a written direct message.

Andy Gray

If football is your game, then former Scotland player Andy Gray is available for Cameo appearances.

One happy customer wrote: "Thank you so much for the time you put into the Birthday video for my dad! Really kind of you to get everything in we asked for. Made my dads day and an extra special 77th birthday! Great video! Thank you once again Andy that was fantastic! Your a star."

He charges £52.50 for a video, or £2.24 for a direct message.

Max Evans

If you are missing Murrayfield, then you might fancy a personalised message for Rugby international Max Evans. He charges £26.25 for a video.

Scott James Kyle

Scottish actor Scott James Kyle, known to fans as Clancy in Angels' Share and Ross in Outlander, offers fans their own personalised video for £37.50.

Tom Felton

Better known as Dracoy Malfoy in Harry Potter, Tom Felton is one of the highest earners on Cameo with a fee of nearly £500 for a personalised message.

One glowing review reads: "I like how Tom sees the positive aspects in every situation. I thought that his advice was very genuine. Loved the song also.

"Watching the video made me very happy and I am grateful that he took the time out of day to answer my question. Tom does care for his fans. Thank you for doing this video Tom!"

Joe McFadden

Scottish TV actor Joe McFadden, who starred in Holby City, offers fans a message for £26.

Colin Montgomerie

A fan of golf? Scottish golfer Colin Montgomerie is on the website offering videos for £112.

Michelle McManus

The singer and TV presenter has been delighting fans with messages this year, with one glowing review saying: "Brilliant. Thank you very much.

"She’s going to love this. It’s her birthday on Patrick’s day. She has a framed photo of you in her living room- a wee but strange lol. She tried to get your album on vinyl but can’t get it."

She charges £33.75.

Gordon Strachan

Gordon Strachan charges £1500 (SNS Group)

Former football boss Gordon Strachan is available for marketing videos on the website Memmo, but at a costly £1500.

Pollyanna McIntosh

Scottish born actor Pollyanna McIntosh, from The Walking Dead, offers videos for £71.

James and Oliver Phelps

James and Oliver Phelps, the trickster Weasley twins from Hogwarts, are also on Cameo offering individual videos for £93.

But if you prefer them as a duo, you can get a message from them together for £150.

Josh Herdman

Known as Goyle in Harry Potter, and now an MMA fighter, Josh Herdman charges £52.50 for a video.
