What song Liverpool played over Anfield tannoy before Brighton as Manchester United promise kept

Liverpool are back in action this afternoon as they welcome Brighton to Anfield, but last Sunday's trashing of Manchester United remains fresh in the minds of supporters.

A result for the history books, there was a new addition to the pre-match soundtrack this weekend.

Luniz's 'I got 5 on it' was played during the warm-ups at the request of a supporter on social media.

Earlier this week, a fan tweeted George Sephton, The Voice of Anfield, to add the song to the playlist.

Sephton, who has been the announcer and DJ for Liverpool since 1971, responded saying: 'consider it done'.

Supporters also sent their rivals a reminder shortly after kick-off as "Ole's at the wheel' chants could be heard once again.

It was a similar story midweek with Liverpool, Manchester City and Leeds United fans singing similar chants in their respective Carabao Cup matches.
