Manchester United great Sir Alex Ferguson has hailed Marcelo Bielsa after he won the League Managers' Association award for the Championship and finished fourth in the overall race.
Bielsa has guided Leeds United to promotion out of the second tier and back into the Premier League and on Sky Sports News this evening he was recognised for his achievements.
The Argentine offered up a classy response to winning which was broadcast on the news channel thanks to a pre-recorded video with the Leeds' boss.
Ferguson also appeared later on in the LMA show to unveil the overall winner of the LMA award, which went to Jurgen Klopp.
Bielsa came fourth, with Ferguson, who the ultimate award is named, giving his verdict on all the managers mentioned.
The Scotsman thoughts on Bielsa were particularly glowing and here is what he had to say.
Ferguson told Sky Sports: "In fourth place is Marcelo Bielsa of Leeds United. As everyone knows in the game that Championship league is very, very difficult.
"Some great teams have been in there for many years.
"Nottingham Forest have won the European Cup twice. Sheffield Wednesday, teams like that. Leeds United were there for 16 years so Marcelo you did a fantastic job. Welcome to the Premier division."
