My Christmas and New Year were ruined by flu. I used up four days of my annual holiday entitlement basically recovering in bed. I regard it as just bad luck but my partner says I can legally demand it is marked as sick leave rather than holiday. But is that pushing it a bit? Would you think a colleague doing that was trying it on?
