The Conservative Party is facing electoral oblivion in the European Parliament elections on May 23 - with a poll projecting the party will win fewer votes than even the Green Party.
A YouGov poll of 1133 Welsh adults, conducted from May 10 to May 15, suggests that the Brexit Party is leading the way on 33% of the vote, putting it on course to win two of Wales' four seats in the European Parliament.
Labour has 18% in second place and Plaid Cymru has 16% in third. They are projected to take the two remaining seats with the Liberal Democrats, Greens, Tories, Ukip and Change UK missing out.
Plaid said the figures showed it was the only Remain-supporting party that could win a seat in Wales and urged disaffected Labour voters to switch their votes to secure a majority for Remain.
The Welsh poll mirrors trends seen in UK-wide polls. The latest average of UK polls put the Brexit Party on 30% ahead of Labour's 21% and the Tories 12% - the lowest Tory vote share since 1834.
The figures are:
- Brexit Party 33% (up 33% on last YouGov poll in Wales)
- Labour 18% (down 10%)
- Plaid Cymru 16% (up 1%)
- Liberal Democrats 10% (up 6%)
- Green Party 8% (up 3%)
- Conservatives 7% (down 10%)
- Change UK 4% (up 4%)
- Ukip 3%

Nigel Farage says he's the boss as four Welsh AMs join the Brexit Party
What it shows about no-deal Brexit support compared to backing for a second referendum
The Lib Dems, Greens, Change UK and Plaid - all backers of a second referendum - have 38% of support - against no deal supporters Ukip and the Brexit Party on 36%. Labour and the Tories, both of which appear to back a negotiated Brexit of some kind - have 25% between them.
The devastating findings for the leading parties reflects the public's collapsing opinion of their leaders.
Separate YouGov research shows how the public's view of both Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn has been in freefall.

If the Wales' poll is reflected in the Conservative' vote across the UK, the pressure on Theresa May to resign as Prime Minister will intensify.
But Labour will also be embarrassed by its poor showing in a country it has dominated electorally for a century.
Plaid Cymru leader Adam Price AM said: “This poll makes absolutely clear that Plaid Cymru is the only Remain party that can win in Wales.
"We are the party on the up and we are the only viable option for Remain supporters.
"Parties like the Liberal Democrats and Greens simply cannot win in Wales. I am appealing to their voters to back Plaid Cymru in the European election because we are the only realistic option for those seeking to beat Brexit.
“I am also appealing to disillusioned and disenfranchised Labour supporters, who have had enough of their party leadership’s attempts to facilitate a Tory Brexit, to lend their vote to us in order to secure a majority for Remain.
“In just one week’s time, the people of Wales have the opportunity to show that we reject Westminster’s broken Brexit by voting for the only pro-Remain party that can win in the European election.
“If Liberal Democrat, Green, and Change UK supporters back Plaid Cymru, Remain would win two seats, and push the Brexit party to second place.
"My message to all voters is this: in the European election on 23 May, give your vote to Plaid Cymru, and together, we can beat Brexit.”

The ever-changing party allegiances of Assembly Member Mark Reckless as he quits the Tories again
A spokesman for the Brexit Party said: “Based on the response we’re getting, our level of support isn’t a surprise.
“A lot of people on both sides of the argument are very frustrated, and we’re even finding that some people who voted Remain are voting for us because we offer a straightforward position.
“People are disillusioned with both the Conservatives and Labour, and that is reflected in the poll figures. Theresa May’s failure to deliver Brexit has been very bad for her party and they are paying the price.
“But Labour’s position has alienated a lot of its supporters too.”
