What Scott Sinclair thinks of Celtic reunion as Preston star struggles to pick favourite Parkhead moment

Former Celtic winger Scott Sinclair can't wait for his Parkhead reunion this weekend.

And the Preston star still has warm memories of his time under Brendan Rodgers in Glasgow's east end.

Sinclair netted on his debut against Hearts in August 2016 and didn't look back as he played a part in three consecutive Trebles at the club.

He departed in January 2020 but with the Lilywhites heading to face Ange Postecoglou's side on Saturday in a pre-season friendly it's a chance for some special catch-ups with former team-mates, coaches and a small number of fans.

And speaking to the Lancashire Evening Post, he said: "Just off the top of my head there are so many games and goals which are memorable.

"It would be too difficult to pick one moment and say that was the best.

"I’m talking about the European nights through to the Old Firm games, there are so many good memories of what we achieved as a team.

"I always knew how big the club was and I knew Brendan very well.

"To be honest I didn’t need much persuading to go up there and it was to prove a great few years.

"On Saturday it will be good to go back and see a few of the old faces."
