What sack mark did the Seahawks’ Jamal Adams set against the Jets?

An ex-New York Jet, Jamal Adams, set a sack mark against his former team. Adams, now a Seattle Seahawk, notched a sack when he chased Sam Darnold out of bounds. It brought him to 8.5 on the year, an NFL mark.

Per ESPN.com:

The Arizona Cardinals‘ Adrian Wilson had 8.0 sacks in 2005, which was previously the record for most sacks in a season since they became an official statistic in 1982, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Wilson reached that total in 16 games while Adams has topped it in his ninth game, having missed four with a groin injury.

Adams was acquired in a blockbuster deal with the Jets in July, when Seattle gave up two first-round picks and starting safety Bradley McDougald as part of the trade.
