
1. This Sunday at 8pm fans of HBO Asia can tune in for the premiere of SENT, the latest series from the studio. The series follows meek Financial Compliance officer Jay Bunani (Haresh Tilani), a frustrated man who keeps hundreds of incendiary email drafts he writes to people who aggravate him, but never sends them. When a twist of fate causes all those emails to be sent out to everyone in his life, Jay becomes an instant internet sensation, but not in a good way. 2. Arts and antiques auction house River City Bangkok invites you to join their free weekly Film Club screening. The films screened will adhere to a different theme each month, with September's theme being "Festival Favourites". This week, the film being screened is Bend It Like Beckham, the story of an Indian girl who goes against the wishes of her conservative family to compete in professional football. 4. Come experience the heart-stopping true story of anti-Isis rebels in Syria at the Doc Club Theater screening of City Of Ghosts, taking place today at 5.30pm. Directed by Matthew Heineman, the Academy Award-winning documentarian behind 2015's Cartel Land, City Of Ghosts follows a Syrian rebel group named "Raqqa Is Being Slaughtered Silently" as they bring the fight to the Isis terrorists occupying their homeland. 5. From today till Oct 1, visit the Sathorn 11 art space for the CUT&PASTE: The Black Pig Exhibition, open from 6pm onwards. Featuring the works of Thai-Japanese artist Luke Satoru, the exhibition will focus on Satoru's own experiences living and working in the chaotic melting pot that is Bangkok. Owner of renowned tattoo-parlour Black Pig Tattoo in Bangkok, the artist will tell his story through a variety of mediums, from fine-jewellery and painting to graphic design.
