You could be forgiven for having forgot what it looks like.
But after a long, cold and wet winter Greater Manchester might finally be in for some sunshine this weekend.
Met Office forecasters are predicting blue skies and temperatures creeping into the low teens on Friday.
And while it's forecast to drop cold overnight and get a bit cloudier on Saturday and Sunday the warmer daytime conditions look set to stay.
On Friday any early frost or fog will clear through the morning, to leave a fine and dry day with plenty of sunshine and a maximum temperature of 13 °C.
Saturday will be 'murky' and slightly colder, with highs of 10 °C., with hill fog and patchy drizzle and Sunday and Monday will remain cloudy, but will be largely dry and mild with sunny spells.
The Oldham Weather website welcomed the milder outlook saying there was 'no sign of winter returning'.
A post on the site said: "We deserve this.
"After a cold and snowy spell, then mostly overcast and damp but mild conditions, a welcome change is on the way.
"Remaining settled, so mostly dry with some bright or sunny spells. Perhaps a south-easterly airflow setting up, so becoming a little cloudier and cooler as the wind freshens.
"Little rain to speak of and no sign of winter returning as we enter into Spring."
