What's opening in theaters next week

Opening Friday:

"Suicide Squad" (PG-13): Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie and Jai Courtney are among the DC Comics supervillains who are offered clemency if they carry out a secret mission. Because bad guys are people too.

"Nine Lives" (PG): Kevin Spacey stars as a workaholic billionaire who is trapped inside the body of the family cat. No, seriously, that's what the movie is about.

"Indignation" (R): Logan Lerman ("The Perks of Being a Wallflower") stars in this adaptation of Philip Roth's novel about a Jewish college student who rebels against authority in the 1950s.

In stores Tuesday:

"The Lobster" (DVD/Blu-ray): Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz star as two lonely people in a future society where being single is prohibited.

"Keanu" (DVD/Blu-ray): Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele play two friends trying to rescue their pet kitten from a gang of drug dealers.

"Mother's Day" (DVD/Blu-ray): Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Julia Roberts co-star in the latest holiday-themed comedy from the late director Garry Marshall.

"High-Rise" (DVD/Blu-ray): Ben Wheatley ("The Kill List") directs this adaptation of J.G. Ballard's novel about a man (Tom Hiddleston) living inside a luxury condo tower when civilization starts to break down.
