What's opening in theaters next week

MOVIES

Opening Friday:

"Inferno" (PG-13): Tom Hanks and director Ron Howard reunite for their third adaptation of a Dan Brown novel about the trouble-magnet symbologist Robert Langdon.

"Moonlight" (R): Writer-director Barry Jenkins' made-in-Miami drama tells three chapters in the life of a young man growing up and struggling with his sexuality.

"The Handmaiden" (R): Park Chan-wook ("Old Boy," "Stoker") directs this critically-acclaimed drama about a Korean servant plotting to defraud her wealthy boss in 1930s Japan.

In stores Tuesday:

"Nerve" (DVD/Blu-ray): Emma Roberts and Dave Franco star in this stylish thriller about the players of a dangerous online game running amok in the streets of New York City.

"Lights Out" (DVD/Blu-ray): An evil presence stalks a woman whenever she turns out the lights in director David F. Sandberg's horror hit.

"Captain Fantastic" (DVD/Blu-ray): Viggo Mortensen earned critical acclaim for his portrayal of a father raising his six kids in an inconventional manner.
