"Morgan" (R): Luke Scott (son of Ridley) makes his directorial debut with this horror thriller about a corporate consultant (Kate Mara) who must decide whether to pull the plug on an artificial-intelligence creature that has become sentient.
"The 9th Life of Louis Drax" (R): Jamie Dornan is a psychologist pulled into the fantasy world of the 9-year-old boy (Aiden Longworth) he's treating.
"Max Rose" (unrated): In his first starring role in 20 years, Jerry Lewis plays a pianist who learns something about his wife shortly before she dies that makes him question their entire marriage.

"Money Monster" (DVD/Blu-ray): Jodie Foster directs George Clooney and Julia Roberts in this thriller about a man who takes a TV news anchor hostage during a live broadcast.
