The Biscuit Maker Launch

One of Newcastle's favourite illustrators, Liz Anelli, is launching The Biscuit Maker, written by Sue Lawson and illustrated by Anelli, at a community event. Aimed at children aged 3 to 10, attendees can enjoy the story, meet the illustrator, and decorate a pot to take home with a chosen seed from the newly-launched Newcastle Seed Library.

A perfect morning out for fresh air, fresh coffee, flowers, produce, fish, pastries, small goods, bread, and a bit of live music. The market stalls are placed along the paved walkway through the middle of the park, so access could not be easier. You might even meet a politician if you have something on your mind.

Reconnected: a recovery story ends this weekend. Curated from local artists submissions to present a united collection that looks on the brighter and more positive side of life after emerging from COVID-19 lockdown. For the first time artworks are also available for purchase from this exhibition, as a support to artists during these difficult times.
