What's in the Oscars 2023 goodie bag? Swanky Italian stay and free Botox among 60 luxury gifts

A three night stay with seven pals on an island in Italy, a plot of land is Australia, liposuction and Botox as well as a Canadian holiday are just some of the 60 items this year's Oscar-nominated actors and directors will find in their gift bags.

The Everybody Wins gift bag returns for Oscars 2023 and we’ve been given a first look at what swag Paul Mescal, Kerry Condon, Brendan Gleeson, Martin McDonagh, Colin Farrell and Barry Keoghan will bring home in their goodie bags.

The 2022 gift bag was worth just over $137,000, including a $12,000 voucher for liposuction.

This year, celebs will be treated to a three-night stay with up to seven friends on the Italian island of Ischia at the Faro Punta Imperatore Lighthouse in Italy, as well as three nights at the ten-acre Canadian estate The Lifestyle in rural Ottawa, Canada.

Distinctive Assets founder Lash Fary has been putting the "Everyone Wins" nominee gift bag together for 21 years, with health and wellness a top theme in this year's selection.

Not everyone will get to enjoy the freebies; only the 26 nominees in the acting and directing categories get sent the gift bag, which is not affiliated with the Oscars or the Academy.

"It's just such a fun consolation prize, if you will. Most of these folks are not going to go home a winner on Sunday. And so even if they don't, they've got $126,000 worth of consolation swag," Fary told Reuters.

The gift bag includes products from at least 60 brands, including beauty products from Ariadne Athens Skin Wellness bath ritual sets, Art Lipo body sculpting, Bauman Medical hair restoration services, C60 Purple Power edible massage oil, Dr. Konstantin Vasyukevich facial rejuvenation procedures and NaturGeeks functional wellness immunity boost.

Preparations for the gift bag commenced as early as August, five months after the 2022 event.

But not everything in the swag bag is materialistic, however. The Pieces of Australia land gift is aimed at boosting nature preservation and protection efforts in the country's bushlands and forests, a PETA travel pillow supports primate rights, while the Upminders LRU (Love, Respect, Unity) Medallion seeks to combat racism, bullying and suicide.

And if the A-listers are feeling peckish, these snacks will keep them covered including M Cacao Expressio chocolates – chocolate boxes with a video message embedded inside, Opopop microwave popcorn kernels. The Beauty Tea Company limited edition all-natural tea collection, Ysidro canned sake spritz, Ginza Nishikawa shokupan and CLIF Thins snacks.

The brands pay $4000 to reserve a spot in the bag in hopes celebrity exposure will boost their company reputation. There is no guarantee that the A-listers will use all products in the bag or give a shout out to the brands, however.

The exact value of the Everybody Wins gift is unknown, but Distinctive Assets confirms that it is worth six-figures.

The gift bags will be delivered to the recipients ahead of the Oscars this Sunday.
