What's coming to Netflix UK in June 2022? Including The Umbrella Academy and Hustle

Netflix has undergone a significant change in its subscription setup recently. And although this led to a loss in subscribers, it still remains one of the most popular streaming platforms.

Therefore, Netflix is still continuing to drop new releases of movies and series on their streaming platform. From brand new films with Hollywood actors such as Adam Sandler to a new comedy series featuring Mellissa McCarthy, you can expect to see a range of new releases in June.

Fans of The Umbrella Academy will also be looking forward to the third season being released, while Love and Anarchy will also be getting its second season. Rowan Atkinson will also star in the new comedy series Man vs. Bee, while a Korean take on Money Heist will also be released.

There are also set to be a number of classic films being added to the streaming service, including the 1994 comedy Dumb and Dumber. So what is being released on the streaming platform in June 2022? Here is a list of shows and movies you can expect to be released on Netflix in June.

Hustle

This sports movie features Adam Sandler who plays the role of a basketball scout who finds a new street player that could help revive his career. Other cast members in the film include Queen Latifa (Girls Trip), Ben Foster (The Survivor), Juancho Hernangomez (professional basketball player), and more. Hustle is released on Netflix UK on June 8.

Jennifer Lopez: Halftime

Jennifer Lopez: Halftime is a documentary highlighting JLo’s career and the events surrounding reaching the momentous age of 50, including her performance at the 2020 Super Bowl. The documentary comes to Netflix on June 14.

God’s Favourite Idiot

This is a new workplace comedy series starring Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) and Ben Falcone (Thunder Force). Set in a Mid Level Tech company, employee Clark Thompson falls in love with co-worker Amily Luck.

Coincidently, at this very same moment, he unintentionally becomes a messenger from God. The show comes to Netflix on June 15.

The Umbrella Academy: Season 3

The popular superhero series, The Umbrella Academy is back for a third season on June 22. Key members of the cast include Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, and Ritu Arya.

As well as returning characters, fans can also expect new characters and settings introduced in Season 3. It’s a new timeline of events with many possibilities and the promise of many great secrets yet to be revealed, including the Sparrow Academy.

Money Heist: Korea Joint Economic Area

Money Heist: Korea Joint Economic Area is the Korean version of the popular series Money Heist. This brand new series, which comes to Netflix on June 24, is described by Netflix as 'thieves overtake the mint of a unified Korea. With hostages trapped inside, the police must stop them - as well as the shadowy mastermind behind it all.'
