What really happened in tunnel as Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield Town bosses clash in heated exchange

Nottingham Forest went into half-time trailing 1-0 at Huddersfield Town, as Christopher Schindler scored for the hosts just after the half hour mark.

And heading down the tunnel at the break, there was a heated exchanged between Reds boss Sabri Lamouchi and his counterpart Danny Cowley.

The Reds had been the better side for much of the first half, until the Terriers broke the deadlock.

Samba Sow returned from injury to make a big difference in midfield, and the visitors created some decent openings in the first half hour.

Sammy Ameobi, Matty Cash and Tiago Silva all sent shots wide. But Schindler volleyed home to put his side ahead, after Lamouchi’s men failed to clear a corner.

And though Ameobi came close to an immediate response when he drilled an effort inches wide of the far post soon after, Lamouchi’s men were left trailing at the break.

Both managers clearly had their frustrations as the two teams headed off the pitch.

Here’s what Reds fans have been saying about what went on in the tunnel at the interval.
