What really happened during Velcuz live Twitch stream in London? Shocking scene emerges early as streamer reacts to blood covered victim

Velcuz, a Finland-based Twitch streamer, had a shocking start to his London stream when he saw a man badly injured just minutes after going live. The incident happened during an IRL broadcast in central London, where around 1,100 people were already watching. What began as an excited stream quickly turned tense, as Velcuz walked into what looked like the aftermath of a stabbing.

He had started streaming from Berners Street in Mayfair and looked happy to be back live. “Bro, I’m so excited, I’m so excited! I swear to god,” he said at the start. But within five minutes, everything changed. As he walked toward Soho, he noticed a group of police officers wearing yellow jackets gathered near a street corner. Right there, he saw a man covered in blood.

Shaken by what he saw, Velcuz quickly moved away from the scene.

“What’s all this then? Oh, f***! Jesus Christ, Jesus fing Christ, Jesus Christ, bro. What the f?!” he reacted on stream.

He kept walking and turned onto Wardour Street, clearly disturbed. A few seconds later, he explained the situation to his viewers.

“Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh, you didn’t see that? Jesus Christ, I thought you saw it. No, he was completely covered in blood. Someone got stabbed, yeah. I’ve been live for five minutes, and someone already got stabbed. Oh, my god!”

He also described the victim in simple terms.

“He was covered in blood. His face and his shirt. Oh my goodness, that’s crazy.”

Despite the disturbing moment, Velcuz did not end the stream and continued exploring London.

Velcuz’s Twitch journey and sudden viral spike on January 28 stream raises questions about fake viewers

Velcuz has been streaming on Twitch since he became a partner in late 2021. He created a stable audience base which helped his channel develop through incremental advances. His major achievements during January 2025 brought him his best career performance results. During that month, he averaged around 20,000 viewers per stream, which was a big jump compared to his earlier numbers. Yet, one stream achieved greater significance than all other streams. His stream on January 28, 2025 reached more than 345,000 viewers at its peak.

The initial appearance showed the project achieved major success. The situation developed abnormal characteristics which later surfaced to emerge as actual evidence. The stream experienced viewbotting according to the reports which provided confirmation. This means fake accounts were used to increase the viewer count.

Out of the 345,000 viewers, only about 1% were real people. Before this, his regular viewership was close to 2,000 viewers per stream, which shows how unusual the spike was.

Even with that incident in the past, Velcuz continues to stream regularly and create real-life content. His recent London stream once again caught attention, but this time for a completely unexpected and serious reason.
