What really happened during Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's 'awkward' moment

Royal Family fans thought they spotted an awkward moment between Meghan Markle and Price Harry at Trooping the Colour.

The couple joined Prince William and Kate, Prince Charles and Camilla, as well as other members of the Royal Family on the Buckingham Palace balcony to mark the occasion.

During the event, some viewers thought they caught a glimpse of Harry telling Meghan off, reports Mirror Online.

However when you listen to the full clip with sound, it becomes clear there is more to the story.

Footage shared on Twitter shows Harry looking inside the room before saying a few words to someone off camera.

Meghan turns her head slightly and mouths something, then faces her husband.

The couple share a few words and Meghan faces forward. She then turns around once more to face Harry - and it's at this point it looks like he instructs her to "turn around" - which she then does.

Harry keeps up his stern facial expression while Meghan awkwardly tries to compose herself in front of the camera.

The original clip has no sound, but the full footage shows it's just a second or so before the National Anthem starts playing.

This means there's a good chance Harry was actually just giving Meghan a heads up the music was about to start playing so she wasn't caught out looking the wrong way.

Instead of standing awkwardly they are actually just listening to the opening part of God Save the Queen.

But even if they were having an awkward bickering moment, we've all been there!
