What Rashford, Martial and Greenwood can learn from Edinson Cavani at Manchester United

Andy Cole has declared himself a big fan of Edinson Cavani - and hopes the striker can share his knowledge of the game with his Manchester United team-mates.

Cavani joined United on a free transfer at the end of the summer transfer window to give manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer another attacking option.

The former Paris-Saint Germain and Napoli star has scored three goals in six Premier League appearances (and only one start).

Cole has been impressed with the 33-year-old's impact since arriving at Old Trafford.

"I really like Cavani at Manchester United," he told The Target Men Podcast. "He has already scored valuable goals for the club and you can see that he is a striker with so much knowledge."

Cole believes the likes of Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial can learn a lot from Cavani.

"His movement off the ball and his ability to attack the space is something that Rashford, Martial and Greenwood should all be wanting to learn from him," added the United legend.

"If they have the appetite to learn, they will all improve having played with Cavani."

Cole also spoke of his high hopes for 19-year-old England international Greenwood.

"I believe Mason Greenwood has all the attributes and all of the potential to go on to become one of the world’s best strikers within the next five years," said Cole.

"I think if Mason continues to work hard and keeps his head down, he will achieve whatever he wants to achieve in football.

"I’m very excited to see him in a Manchester United shirt for years to come."
