Rangers coach Michael Beale admits everyone forgets Alfredo Morelos is still young and developing as a player.
And he insists the addition of Kemar Roofe has been a huge boost to the front line because he brings more experience to the attacking trio.
Roofe, Morelos and Ryan Kent are the three first picks for Rangers when it comes to big games and Beale reckons the summer signing adds leadership to the final third.
Morelos and Kent are both 24 with Roofe three years years older at 27, and will be 28 next month.
That age difference is a lot when it comes to adding experience to the Rangers attack, reckons Beale, with the Ibrox side relying on Morelos and Kent a lot last season.
Former Anderlecht man Roofe has started life in Glasgow well with seven goals in 13 appearances for the club, including four in his last four games.
And when asked about Roofe, and midfielder Scott Arfield, Beale told RangersTV: "Two leaders, two real leaders. The way they carry themselves every day as men is really important.
“Having Kemar Roofe come into the team brought us a leader in the final third. We forget how young Alfredo (Morelos) is, and Ryan Kent. “They’re the same age. We almost forget that with Alfredo because he carries himself with such strength and he’s so commanding on the pitch but he’s a young man.
“So having Kemar in there with him who is a bit older, he brings that bit of experience.
“Scott Arfield, at the moment, is having a wonderful time of it.
“He wasn’t in the team at the start of the season but that’s his seventh goal and he’s had seven assists in the last 15 games.
“He’s scored against Benfica, he’s scored against Galatasaray and then again on Thursday night because he gives our team a lot people don’t see.”
