What Rangers and Bayer Leverkusen fans are saying ahead of Europa League match

Rangers and Bayer Leverkusen will finally resume their Europa League tie this evening.

The first leg was played at Ibrox in March, and proved to be the final competitive game played in Scotland before the shutdown.

The Bundesliga side left Glasgow with a 3-1 win, but Rangers fans believe Steven Gerrard's men can pull off a shock result and progress to a quarter-final tie against Inter Milan.

Bayer Leverkusen supporters, meanwhile, are keen for their side not to get complacent.

Here's what fans have been saying on Twitter and Bayer Leverkusen forum WERKSELF.DE ahead of the match.

RANGERS

"Can Rangers win by 3 goals tonight to get through? Not for me to say, but it's going to be a real gutter when we play a team like Inter with no fans present" - @GarryCarmody

"A weird feeling about the Leverkusen game. Almost feels like a Super Cup game or something. Good to play such a quality team so early in the season and going through would obviously be sensational but that third away goal is a killer" - @adamski152

"Can’t wait to watch Morelos hat trick and 3-0 Rangers" - @irn_bruu

"Massive game for us tonight, not ready to leave the competition. We have done so well" - @J13CBV

BAYER LEVERKUSEN

"If we play Inter, it gets very interesting. Then I expect a great game. You have to be careful then. But first defeat Glasgow Rangers" - @Carrey86

"First take care of Rangers. This is not a sure-fire success" - SVB-92

"I am very skeptical about the arrogance/arrogance that is subliminally spreading everywhere. I'm not arrogant, I just find the Rangers s***ty and unappealing" - :1288:

"After the first leg result, their priorities are more likely to be a good start to the tight league program and a first championship title after 10 years of abstinence" - Ansteff
