Every week a Guardian Money reader submits a question, and it’s up to you to help him or her out – a selection of the best answers will appear in next Saturday’s paper.
This week’s question
I’m stumped on what to get my other half (he’s 45) for Christmas. We’ve been together 20 years and I’m completely lacking in inspiration. He doesn’t need more gadgets or clothes, and hates sport. What quirky present ideas have worked for other people? I’m thinking an “experience” is the way to go. Or should I just get him a pile of books again?
