What Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did when Alexandre Lacazette scored for Arsenal

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are quickly becoming a modern day Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.

The two Arsenal strikers get the best out of each other and are key to the Gunners qualifying for next season's Champions League.

Aubameyang and Lacazette have scored 31 goals between them this season - with the Frenchman notching his 14th goal of the campaign against Newcastle on Monday night.

Lacazette was rewarded for a classy performance with an 83rd minute clincher after Aaron Ramsey had given Unai Emery's side the lead.

The former Lyon man produced a sublime lob after Aubameyang had put him in behind the Magpies defence.

Most of the Emirates crowd knew it was in from the moment it left Lacazette's boot, but one man in north London didn't have the same confidence.

As the ball hovered in the air Aubameyang put his hands to his head believing that his striker partner had cleared the goal.

It was only when the back of the net rippled that he joined in the celebrations - with a fancy handshake his way of congratulating Lacazette.
