Last week Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appeared to drop the clearest hint yet about his future.
The 30-year-old's contract at the Emirates Stadium expires at the end of the next season and rumours persist regarding a possible departure in the summer transfer window.
This has prompted links to the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United.
Given the Gunners could lose Aubameyang on a free in the summer of 2021 if he doesn't sign a new deal and the club opt against cashing in on him at the end of the season, the striker holds all the cards.
He even touched on the issue last weekend on social media when he was asked by ex-Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng about whether he intends to extend his stay in north London.
In a joint Instagram live video, Boateng said: "They're [fans commenting on the stream] all saying you should sign a new deal with Arsenal."
Aubameyang replies: "Ah, yeah. I know," to which Boateng asks: "How long do you have left?"
The Arsenal captain says: "One year," before casually answering: "Sure, sure..." with a laugh when asked again whether he intends to stay with the Gunners.
This exchange has left some Gunners supporters being resigned to the fact that Aubameyang will be sold this summer.
And amid all the speculation about his future as well as the Premier League's decision to suspend the season indefinitely, Aubameyang has taken to Instagram to show how much he's missing football.
"When simple things becomes so Good to do, football I Miss u badly," he posted on Instagram.
Such is the debate over whether Arsenal should keep Aubameyang or sell him if he doesn't a new deal this summer, football.london have weighed up the pros and cons of the latter.
Furthermore, here's five reasons why the Gabon international should snub interest from elsewhere to stay in the capital.
Whatever decision the Gunners make will have an impact on their chances of success next season, but for now Aubameyang just wants to get back out on a football pitch.
