Two Arsenal players showed their class ahead of last week's Europa League clash with Slavia Prague.
The quarter-final first leg meeting didn't exactly go to plan for the Gunners despite Nicolas Pepe putting them ahead with just minutes remaining after the Czech side scored what might prove to be a crucial away goal late in injury time.
But while it doesn't always seem like it, there is more to life than football, and Gunners captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and goalkeeper Bernd Leno have shown their class off the field.
In the previous round, Slavia goalkeeper Ondrej Kolar suffered a horrific head injury against Rangers, suffering a skull fracture that will require him to wear a skull cap like Petr Cech wore for the rest of his career.
Miraculously, though, the stopper returned within just three weeks to face Arsenal, and ahead of the game, Aubameyang and Leno paid Kolar a visit to send a very important message.
Slavia president Jaroslav Tvrdík revealed on Twitter: "I was totally blown away by a situation Ondřej Kolář told me about. It rebuilds my trust in English football. In Fair Play.
"Both Arsenal captain and goalkeeper came to him before our game to assure him that he didn’t have to worry about anything after his injury. This is the true value of football.”
Arsenal fans will be delighted to see their players showing that level of class.
With a spot in the semi-finals at stake, players could be forgiven for having tunnel vision ahead of the fixture, but the Arsenal duo had clearly seen what had happened to Kolar and wanted to do their bit in rebuilding his confidence.
Though, they will be desperate to make sure he is on the losing side on Thursday when Arsenal will be vying to seal a place in the semi-finals, having been dealt a late blow in the first leg as Slavia Prague scored an equaliser in the 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium.
That means Arsenal must score in Prague, with the Czech side having something to hold on to in the second leg.
