What Paul Pogba said to Eric Bailly when he returned to Manchester United training ground

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was on hand to welcome Eric Bailly back to the Carrington training complex on Tuesday following his injury scare against Chelsea.

Bailly was unable to continue after colliding with teammate Harry Maguire in the first half at Wembley. Both players jumped for the same ball and the Ivorian was transported to hospital after the incident.

Thankfully, the defender wasn't seriously injured and was discharged on Monday. Bailly returned to the Carrington training complex on Tuesday and was greeted by his teammate Pogba who started on the bench in the defeat to Chelsea.

"My soldier is back," Pogba said on the video posted to his Instagram story. "How is my fighter doing?"

Bailly replied: "I'm good" to which Pogba said: "My man got a knock on his head and was ready to stay on the pitch."

The defender brushed off his injury, saying: "No, it's nothing."

United are back in action against West Ham on Wednesday night as they target a win that will boost their hopes of Champions League qualification for next season.

United are currently level on points with fourth-placed Leicester but have played a game less than the Foxes. Avoiding defeat against West Ham will mean United will only need a draw against Leicester on the final day of the campaign to ensure a top-four finish.
