What Paul Pogba said to Aaron Wan-Bissaka ahead of Man Utd's win over Perth Glory

Paul Pogba gave Aaron Wan-Bissaka a pep talk ahead of Manchester United's pre-season friendly win over Perth Glory.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the France international told the new £50million signing to utilise his speed and charge up and down the right flank.

Ole Gunnar Solkjaer then reportedly rubber-stamped the message when talking to the former Crystal Palace defender moments before kick-off in Australia.

Solskjaer has been waxing lyrical about the speed of the right-back while in Perth.

"Is anyone faster than James? Maybe Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The two of them do have top, top speed," said the Manchester United boss.

"Modern football is stop-start, it is go again, speed, tempo, quality, so those two have put their marker down. Of course, with our boys, we have got some quick ones.

"It doesn't matter if they are English, Norwegian, French, Brazilians, you just want good players, good people, quality and speed of course is a big thing in football nowadays.

"Anyone who plays against, for example, Rashford, Martial, Dan James, with the speed they have, I think you're going to fear they're hurting you, even if they're in a day when they are worse."

Pogba has been linked with a move away from Manchester United this summer after admitting he needs a new challenge.

Real Madrid and Juventus have been most strongly linked with the World Cup winner but neither side have tested Manchester United's resolve.

The Red Devils are holding out for a whopping £180million for their prized asset, which would price every club on the planet out of a transfer for Pogba.
