What Patrick Vieira has said after being tipped by Arsene Wenger as a future Arsenal manager

Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira has not closed the door on potentially returning to the Premier League as a manager.

The former Gunners captain started his managerial career in the United States with MLS franchise New York City FC and has since returned to Europe to lead OGC Nice.

Tipped as a potential candidate to replace Arsene Wenger after his exit last summer, Vieira remains heavily linked with the north London side and, if or when Unai Emery leaves, will likely be named among the favourites.

Indeed, Wenger himself has said that he sees Vieira as the Arsenal coach one day, and the former Gunners' captain has admitted he is still a follower of English football but refused to be drawn into direct speculation on his future.
