What Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told Paul Pogba before Manchester United vs Wolves

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer asked Paul Pogba to give everything he has got ahead of Manchester United's meeting with Wolves on Tuesday night.

The French midfielder was one of six changes made to the United team for the visit of Wolves after he started as a substitute during the Boxing Day draw with Leicester.

When asked what Solskjaer had said to him ahead of the match Pogba told Stadium Astro: "Give it your best. I give my best to be on the pitch, to play and give my best for the team.

"I can play left, right, anywhere. I just give all I've got just to help the team the most I can."

United will finish the year second-placed in the Premier League if they beat Wolves and Pogba acknowledges just how pivotal the match could be in determining their season.

He added: "We know it is an important game for us. We have been playing a lot those weeks and we see the results as well. But obviously teams are tired and you can see that.

"Today we know it is very, very important. We know where we can be if we win this game. So we focus on this and ourselves and hopefully we can get the result we want."
