What Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 'said to Angel Gomes to upset wonderkid' and consider exit

Angel Gomes is reportedly ready to quit Manchester United to go in search of first team opportunities elsewhere.

The midfield wonderkid has made only two first team appearances for the Red Devils this season, playing just 15 minutes of United's 2-0 defeat by Cardiff City on the final day of the campaign.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keen on handing the youngster a chance, and there are other clubs in both Spain and Portugal also allegedly monitoring Gomes' situation.

The 18-year-old is one of Manchester United's brightest talents, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has his reservations, which he has reportedly articulated to the teenager.

According to Portuguese publication A Bola, Solskjaer told Gomes he doesn't believe he is ready for the physical demands of the Premier League.

This, coupled with his lack of first team opportunities, has reportedly upset Gomes, who pointed out that Lionel Messi's height hasn't held him back.

The 18-year-old now has his eye on a possible transfer away from Old Trafford.
