There may not be any supporters present on Sunday afternoon when Nottingham Forest return to Championship action, but the City Ground will still be feeling their presence.
Over 1,300 cardboard cut-outs of supporters have been sold, while Reds fan group Forza Garibaldi have added their classic touches the stadium to show Sabri Lamouchi and his players that they’re right behind their play-off bid.
A raft of banners will adorn the Trent End, Bridgford Stand, Brian Clough and Peter Taylor Stands, after the group put together their latest display with help from supporters who have their own flags and banners.
Forza have been at a sun-drenched City Ground in the build-up to Sunday’s game, displaying a variety of old and new banners, including one which runs the length of the Trent End, depicting each member of Lamouchi’s squad along with the words ‘Every single one of us remains behind every single one of you.’
Fans, meanwhile, have until 5pm on Thursday afternoon to secure their cardboard cut-out and see their face in the crowd for Sunday’s 2:15pm kick-off with the Terriers.
The cut-outs which cost £20, will be in place for each of Forest’s five remaining home league games of a campaign they hope will see them finish inside the top six for the first time since 2013.
