What Nicolas Pepe's agent has said about Manchester United transfer links

Manchester United are being heavily linked with a move for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ponders whether to bolster his forward line.

The Sunday Times have reported that United have moved for the 24-year-old after holding interest for some time with Pepe's club valuing him at around £70m.

Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool have all been named as interested parties, though Pepe's agent has previously suggested a move to French champions Paris Saint-Germain is most likely.

earlier this month agent Samir Khiat did hint that Pepe would be on the move. He has a number of potential suitors after propelling Lille to second place in Ligue 1 last season with 22 goals. He can play through the middle or out wide.

"Nicolas is open to everything," his agent said on a possible transfer.

"The aim is for him to sign in the right place. PSG is a possibility.

"Today, all parties need to reach an agreement. There are exchanges and discussions.

"He is wanted by a considerable number of clubs.

"For him the most important thing is to be wanted and to go to a good club in which he will play and continue to progress."

remain Sporting CP playmaker Bruno Fernandes, Leicester defender Harry Maguire and Newcastle youngster Sean Longstaff, though Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be tempted to make a move for Pepe if Romelu Lukaku departs to Inter.

The Italian club are very keen to sign the Belgian and United are reportedly sounding out potential alternatives.
