Be it Sheffield United in 2003, or Yeovil in the League One play-offs, there is a familiar feeling of despair when it comes to the Reds and the play-offs.
This time though, Forest didn't even make into the play-offs after their capitulation against Stoke City, coupled with Swansea's 4-1 win at Reading, saw the Welsh side sneak into the top six at the death.
