Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has admitted there has been no talks about a new contract at Old Trafford.
The Serbian midfielder is out of contract in the summer and has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur to team up with Jose Mourinho.
Having looked destined to head out of the door a few months ago, injuries to Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay have seen Matic work his way back into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first-team plans.
His impressive form has left many United supporters questioning whether the 31-year-old should, in fact, been handed a new deal.
Although his current deal expires in June, United have the option to extend Matic's contract by a further 12 months.
Speaking about his future amid all the uncertainty, Matic revealed there hasn't been any talks about extending his stay despite he return to form.
"I've got a contract until the end of the season. We will see. I'm at Carrington every day open to talk if they think I can help. If not, life will go on. For sure, there is always a solution," he told the MEN.
Whilst Matic seems happy to stay at United if the club would so wish, the midfielder revealed he is not short of options outside of Manchester.
However, the former Chelsea anchor refused to divulge the clubs that had made contact over a potential free transfer in the summer.
"I can't tell who is asking for me but for sure when you play at Manchester United, many clubs are looking to sign you," he continued.
"That's not only me, it's for every player – especially when you’re out of contract. My first option is Manchester United but if they decide something else then there are always solutions."
Speculation linking Matic and Tottenham has cooled this month, with Spurs adding Gedson Fernandes to their squad and making Giovani Lo Celso's transfer from Real Betis a permanent deal.
