What Neil Warnock did after the Liverpool game has seen the Cardiff City boss branded a legend

You could have forgiven Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock if following his side's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday he had locked himself in a dark room for a few hours to find peace with his thoughts.

Such is the pressure of being a Premier League manager.

But the 70-year-old did the exact opposite.

Despite being in the middle of an extremely tight relegation battle with Cardiff's Premier League future on the line, Warnock took the time to greet fans outside the stadium on Sunday evening, handing out Easter egg cakes to supporters who had assembled.

Tweeting the picture, Simon Morris wrote: "Neil Warnock brining out Easter cake for all the @ CardiffCityFC waiting after the game. What other @ OfficialFPL manager would do this? CARLIV "

In the video the boss can be heard saying "get it down ya" as he passed the tray of cakes around.

Supporters followed up the post with messages of praise for the veteran boss.

What a gent.
