What Mohamed Salah said in the changing room after Liverpool beat Barcelona

Mohamed Salah told them to never give up, and his Liverpool teammates certainly listened.

The Reds' Egyptian top scorer was forced to miss the epic Champions League semi-final showdown with Barcelona , in which the Reds remarkably came back from 3-0 down in the first leg to win 4-3 on aggregate.

Divock Origi and Gini Wijnaldum both hit braces as Anfield witnessed scenes that not even that famous old ground has seen before.

And Salah had to come and be part of the celebrations.

The forward - who will have recovered from his concussion in time to face Wolves at Anfield at the weekend - came down to the side of the pitch in the closing moments of the game, and then joined in with the celebrations in front of the Kop.

The Gini Wijnaldum moment 'that will be seen for decades' - and it wasn't one of his goals

He then headed to the changing room where he joined in with the rest of the players as they looked stunned at just what they'd managed to achieve by getting to the final on June 1 against all odds.

Salah could then be heard jokingly asking James Milner: "Have you planned to go on holiday?"

Hopefully the midfielder hadn't.

But if he had, we're sure he'll be looking forward to his trip to Madrid instead.
