What Mikel Arteta did when watching Arsenal's win over Chelsea in 2018 with Pep Guardiola

Arsenal fans have been reminded of head coach Mikel Arteta's passion for the club, as a reminder of one scene from Manchester City's Amazon documentary emerged on Twitter.

Arteta played for Arsenal for five years before retiring and joining Manchester City as Pep Guardiola's assistant manager.

The Spaniard helped City win two Premier League titles before leaving to rejoin Arsenal as Unai Emery's replacement in December.

It was thought his familiarity with the club and connection with the Arsenal fans was a key advantage over other contenders, and swayed the Gunners' hierarchy to appoint him.

Mikel Arteta on being angry with Arsenal

His managerial career at the Emirates has started well, with a marked improvement in Arsenal's performances on the pitch.

A draw against Bournemouth was followed by a defeat to Chelsea, but Arteta has presided over back-to-back victories over Manchester United and Leeds United.

With his stock among fans at an all-time high, one supporter took to social media to post a screenshot from the Amazon documentary 'All Or Nothing: Manchester City', which followed the progress of City's 2017/28 season from behind-the-scenes.

The picture shows Arteta and the rest of City's coaching team out for dinner and watching Arsenal's Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Chelsea at the Emirates.

Above the picture, the caption read: 'Been re-watching the Man City Amazon documentary for the Arteta bits. Currently on the episode where Pep takes all the staff to watch Arsenal - Chelsea. Arteta’s reaction when Chelsea score.'

In another picture, Arteta is seen smiling after Arsenal take a second half lead through Granit Xhaka.

Arsenal edged past the Blues to reach the final, winning 2-1 on the night, where they would go on to lose to Manchester City at Wembley.
