Mesut Ozil hailed Arsenal's young players after they helped end the Gunners' poor form with a fine win over Chelsea.
The Gunners were seven Premier League games without a win before they stunned Chelsea 3-1 on Saturday evening. Mikel Arteta made a host of changes for the match, handing the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith Rowe starts.
With Bukayo Saka and Joe Willock also featuring, it was a young Arsenal XI that upset the odds to beat their London rivals.
Ozil, who remains frozen out at the Emirates having failed to make the Gunners' 25-man Premier League squad, voiced his support for his teammates on social media.
He tweeted: "Really happy for all our youngsters today - playing with pride and no fear. Crucial three points! #YaGunnersYa"
Alexandre Lacazette opened the scoring from the penalty spot before Grant Xhaka curled in an excellent free-kick to make it 2-0 before half-time. Saka then added a third with a fine strike that looped over Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
Whilst Tammy Abraham pulled a late goal back for Chelsea and Bernd Leno saved a penalty, it was a deserved three points for Arsenal's young guns, which was made all the more impressive by the absence of the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Ozil was not the only figure to praise the Gunners' young players. Speaking on Sky Sports post-match, full-back Kieran Tierney, who earned his side's penalty, praised his young teammates.
"We needed that result," he said. "We've had a few bad performances but we started better than we have lately and didn't wait until we were 1-0 down to start playing.
"All the youngsters here are hungry to play. We have to keep going. At half-time the message was to keep going. Bernd Leno dug us out of a hole at the end. It would have been a long five minutes had that gone in."
