What Meghan Markle's secret hand gesture says about her feelings for Prince Harry

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may still be in the first flushes of parenthood, but there was no sign of stress or strain when they turned up last night to the Yankees vs Red Sox baseball game in London.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance at the London Stadium, where they met members of both teams and were gifted a host of baseball-themed presents for baby Archie - including a tiny bat and an adorable Yankees babygro with the newborn's name printed on the back.

It's one of the first appearances for Meghan since she gave birth on May 6, and she wasn't expected to join her husband at the game.

But she was seen laughing and joking with the athletes, even hugging one who claimed he was related to Meghan several generations back.

It was a marked change for the married couple, who were seen looking a little tense at Trooping the Colour earlier this month.

Here, body language expert Judi James reveals the secret signals Harry and Meghan were giving away last night...

"Performing one of the biggest PDAs in front of some 60,000 fans (plus the world’s press) at the London Stadium, Harry and Meghan clearly decided to announce their ongoing love for one another in the most emphatic way.

"These poses show some serious and prolonged bouts of eye-gazing, with Meghan turning her head to eye-gaze her husband with the kind of 'look of love' smile that you normally only see performed this much in the early days of a relationship when no-one else around you seems to exist.

"Meghan's flat shoes place her at an unusual angle here which has impacted on their poses, meaning she's looking up at Harry more than usual and that rather sweet look reflects in her hand clasp in front of her waist that has a look of shyness about it.

"Meghan is performing the very flattering look of love all through these poses, including when the couple are sitting down in their seats, and it's interesting that Harry looks to be on top form too, using a crinkle-eyed smile when he gazes back at his wife or splaying his chest and torso like a proud, protective alpha as he walks out on pitch holding her hand.

"After all the speculation over those shots on the balcony at the Trooping the Colour, it looks here as though the couple want to re-affirm the fact here that they are as very much in love as they were when they first appeared together at the Invictus Games in Toronto."
