What Mauricio Pochettino's Paris Saint-Germain future means for Moise Kean Everton transfer

The uncertainty over Mauricio Pochettino's Paris Saint-Germain future is not expected to stop the French club's pursuit of Moise Kean this summer.

Pochettino has reportedly held talks with old club Spurs over their vacant manager's position at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Jose Mourinho, who replaced the axed Pochettino in November 2019, was sacked by Spurs in April.

Pochettino took charge at PSG in January, after the sacking of Thomas Tuchel, but saw the French giants miss out on the Ligue 1 title and fall to Manchester City in the Champions League semi-finals.

And it has now emerged this week that the Argentine has talked to Tottenham, who are on the look-out for a new boss.

But any uncertainty over Pochettino's PSG future is unlikely to change their plans regarding a pursuit of Everton's Kean with the player having been on the club's radar for a number of seasons.

Kean, who still have three years left on his Everton contract, has spent the campaign on loan in the French capital and has impressed, by scoring 17 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions.

The 21-year-old has made it clear he hopes to return to PSG next season and the club's sporting director, Leanardo, has also spoke of their hopes of re-signing Kean.

It is believed that it is Brazilian Leanardo who has been the driving force behind PSG's interest in Kean.

Carlo Ancelotti recently said that if Kean is unhappy then it is important for a deal to be struck with PSG for his transfer.
