Real Madrid have a big injury concern heading into the new season.
Los Blancos beat Arsenal in a penalty shootout in the International Champions Cup in Maryland in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
But that victory came at a cost.
Forward Marco Asensio was stretchered off during the second half of the contest in Maryland, near Washington, with a serious-looking injury.
It is feared that Asensio has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament, which would mean months on the sidelines.
The 23-year-old was a regular for Madrid last season, playing 44 games in all competitions and his absence would be a hammer blow to Zinedine Zidane's plans for the La Liga campaign.
His injury could also have an impact on the future of Gareth Bale too.
Bale has been linked with an exit, with Zidane and Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett being involved in a war of words.
Zidane admitted the club were trying to offload the Welshman, suggesting it would be good for everyone if he left, with Barnett hitting back and calling Zidane a "disgrace".
Bale has been linked with the Chinese Super League, as well as a shock return to Tottenham, with manager Mauricio Pochettino failing to dispell rumours of a return to N17 when he admitted he "didn't know" if Spurs were the club interested in him.
Bale scored in the same game against Arsenal in which Asensio was stretchered off, with Zidane saying afterwards: "He put in a good performance and I'm pleased for him.
"Nothing has changed, you know the situation."
