Eddie Nketiah can become one of the important players in English football.
This is the view of Marcelo Bielsa as Leeds United close in on the loan signing of the Arsenal wonderkid.
Football.london reported earlier in the day that the 20-year-old has opted to join United after attracting interest from a host of Championship clubs as well as some from across Europe.
Expected to undergo a medical in Yorkshire this afternoon, an announcement is imminent.
Once completed it will be a big chance for Nketiah to show he can cope with the demands of regular first-team football.
And he's backed to to exactly that.
"He is a young important player in English football," Bielsa told reporters. "He's a player with a very good reputation. He can be one of the important players in English football, that's the way people are talking about him.
"Always in the Championship you have some important players such as last year Harry Wilson and Harrison in our case and we think that this player will have a similar feature.
"He is a player that a of clubs wanted and is in the case of White he is a player that came from Victor Orta so he arrives at a club that was not easy - we have to link the arrival of the player with Victor Orta and of course the dimension of Leeds as a club."

The 20-year-old is was in fine form during pre-season.
An assist against Colorado Rapids was followed up by a winner against Bayern Munich as well as a brace against Fiorentina.
But being behind Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in the pecking order means a loan is the best step in his development.
