Manchester United are stepping up their preparations for their first Premier League match back against Tottenham with two friendlies against West Brom.
United will face Albion in two games at Old Trafford on Friday after their game with Stoke City yesterday afternoon was called off less than an hour before kick-off.
Stoke boss Michael O’Neill was informed on his way to Carrington that he had contracted coronavirus following tests for the virus on Monday.
United instead played a match using their own squad at their training complex and will now face the Championship side in games at Old Trafford on Friday afternoon, according to The Telegraph.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are first up at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for Spurs on Friday week, with West Ham then making the trip to N17 four days later.
An away day at Sheffield United is the final game of the team's confirmed fixtures so far and that match will take place at Bramall Lane on Thursday, July 2, although more provisional dates have now been released.
Spurs had to contend with a number of key injuries to players prior to the break in play but the three months without a game has allowed the likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min to return to fitness.
Jose Mourinho put his side through their paces in their own in-house training game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Friday and are set to take on Norwich City in another friendly this coming Friday.
