What Man City star Gabriel Jesus told Nicolas Otamendi ahead of Brazil's clash with Argentina

Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus has joked that he isn't afraid to hit back at Nicolas Otamendi during tomorrow's international fixture between Argentina and Brazil.

The South American rivals face each other with City players on both sides of the fence. Ederson is unavailable for Brazil but both Jesus and Fernandinho could feature.

On the other hand, Argentina have both Sergio Aguero and Otamendi ready for selection.

Jesus joked that he wouldn't be afraid to give some punishment back to his teammate during tomorrow's game.

"I talked to Otamendi, I was joking with him - I said if he bumped me, I would give it back!" he told Sky Sports.

"When we are together in the club, we all swim in the same direction. Now I defend my country, and they [defend] their own country. Let them do their best, but there is rivalry."

The Man City forward also revealed his excitement of taking part in such a huge fixture for his country.

He added: "It's always good to play a match of this magnitude - Brazil and Argentina is the greatest soccer classic.

"I always play very hard, with star players on the other side too. Hopefully it is a good show and hopefully we will be victorious."
